For recyclers*
Recyclers are the final step in the circular lifecycle and crucial in order to facilitate a high-quality stream of recycled resources.
Recycling a product is the final step in closing the textile loop, making recyclers play a crucial role in this process. When a recycler chooses to participate in the deposit system, they gain access to a new material flow where the correct information can be traced at the product level.
As the volume of deposit-tagged garments in circulation increases, this material flow will grow larger and become more refined. This (future) material flow helps recyclers better align their recycling processes and could eventually eliminate the need for sorting altogether.
Finally, the recycler holds the responsibility for closing the loop, where the label is scanned one last time using the web app to log the product out and complete the cycle.
