Insight into your products by using product passports.

Consumers who use Circulaid, and therefore have purchased clothing with a deposit, gain insights into their products through the deposit label. When scanning a deposit label, the web app displays important product information and allows the journey of the product to be tracked.

Regarding product information, the following details are shown:

• Name & image of the product

• The deposit amount

• Care instructions

Regarding tracking the journey of the product, the following points can be followed:

• Moment of registration

• Moment of activation in the store

• Moment of return to the store*

• Moment of receiving at the fashion brand*

• Moment of receiving at the recycler**

*When the product is returned to the store, the consumer loses access to the deposit label. To continue tracking the product, the consumer has the option to enter an email address at the moment of return. The consumer will then receive a link via email to keep following the journey of the garment after it has been returned.

**In the first version, the endpoint of the product's lifecycle is when the garment is returned to the fashion brand. When enough items have been returned, a suitable recycler will be connected to the system.
